Special GRAISyHM Workshop on Human-centered design
AS PART OF 11th IFAC/IFIP/IFORS/IEA Symposium
Overview
This workshop takes place in the frame of 11th IFAC Symposium which will be held in Valenciennes, France.
Human centered design is one of the fastest growing areas of industrial research. It aims at finding the right combination of human knowledge for design of new industrial products which can handle new consumers' expectations. Human-centered design is vital to enhancing links between industrial companies and their consumers, to be more market relevant. Mass-customization, quality perception, process safety, cognitive analysis, ergonomics, diagnosis and other human factors are involved in this area. In different industrial fields, intelligent techniques have been widely used as efficient computational tools for solving such problems.
This workshop deals with implementation of relevant global evaluation index about industrial products and processes by combining human expertise, numerical data as well as symbolic ones. Main objective is to put into place new solutions, which are able to combine variables set expressed using different format and compliant with uncertainty and inaccuracy.
